What to Know About Renting a Dumpster

To make sure that you are getting an honest quote to be sure to ask these questions:

Are there any additional fees for delivery, pickup, or disposal?

Are there any restricted items? Are there any items that cost extra?

Is there a weight allowance? If so, what is the cost if I go over?

How will you prevent damage to my driveway?

How do I get the items in the dumpster?

What are the post pickup procedures? Will you clean up where the dumpster was?

BEFORE THE BIN

Prior to delivery figure out the best place to put the dumpster. Some things to consider are access for the delivery & pickup, if there are low hanging wires, and if pipes will be driven over.

LOADING THE BIN

When you are loading a dumpster, you want to place the larger items in the bin first.
