It seems as if Winter weather has been around too long, but Spring is on its way! That means Spring cleanup. Renting a roll-off dumpster will help you knock out multiple Spring cleaning projects all at once! It’s time to reserve a bin and tackle all your Spring cleaning in and outside the home.
Start spring cleaning with the inside of your home. Temperatures are steadily rising, but there are still some chilly days ahead. This is the perfect time to work on the inside, progressing your way outside by the time warmer days are here.
First, to make spring cleaning easier, decluttering is necessary. Eliminating the clutter of unwanted and unused items not only gives the home a fresh look, it makes it easier to deep clean things such as light fixtures, ceiling fans, lamps, and flooring. Go room by room and gather up clutter from closets and inside cabinets, and put them in the garage.
Next, it’s time to clean up the remains of fall and winter from outside and get your house and yard ready for spring. Just like inside the home, clearing out unwanted objects, will make it easier to prepare for spring. This can be done by clearing out the gutters, raking up leaves, clearing out old mulch, and trimming trees and bushes.
After piling up the unwanted yard debris, it is time to order your roll-off dumpster and proceed to the last project.
The final project is tackling that garage and/or attic. Both of these areas tend to accumulate ‘stuff’ more than other parts of the home.
Start with pulling out articles from the garage. Make two piles: one pile of objects to keep, and the other of objects to discard. The pile of objects to discard can start going right into the dumpster. Next, empty any trash or junk from the attic and add that to the bin as well. The items you are keeping in your garage (or attic) can now be returned to where they belong. Finally, add the yard debris to the dumpster.
With bins that take up a small area and rental periods that include 7 days, your multiple spring projects can be combined and easily cleared away. We even sweep up when we pick up the bin! That’s the ultimate spring cleaning.
